Mahesh Hospital & Research Foundation

We are situated on 13th Street, where we run both a hospital and a research foundation. Having these two sides to the business means there is always a lot going on under one roof. On one hand, we have the patients coming in for treatment, and on the other, we have a team looking into medical data and research. It makes the daily routine quite interesting. The 13th Street location is pretty easy to get to, and we have a fair amount of people coming in and out throughout the day. The building is divided into sections so the research work doesn't get in the way of the patient care. We have labs where the science happens and then the regular hospital rooms where the nurses do their rounds. It’s not a silent place; there is always the hum of machines or the sound of people talking in the corridors. We don’t spend much on marketing or fancy signs. Most people find us because they need medical help or are involved in the research projects. Our staff is a mix of medical professionals and researchers who have been with us for years. We try to keep the atmosphere practical and focused on the tasks at hand. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when we are balancing the hospital needs with a big research deadline. We just keep moving forward and doing the work we are here for.
