Maher Kiranam Store

Maher Kiranam Store is located inside the Sara Homes Complex over here in Upparpally. If you are driving down Attapur, just look for Pillar No 175 and we are right there on the opposite side. I moved into Shop No S-6 a few years back. It is a decent spot, though the parking can be a bit of a headache during the rush hour. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter watching the traffic go by under the flyover. We carry the usual household items that families in the complex need. It is mostly dal, oil, spices, and snacks for the kids coming home from school. I try to keep everything organized but sometimes the boxes pile up in the corners when the delivery truck comes late. My wife helps me out in the afternoons so I can grab a quick lunch. The people living in Hyderguda are friendly enough. We know most of them by name since they come in every few days for milk or bread. It is a quiet life running a store like this. I do not have a big staff, just me and occasionally a helper boy. We don't have any fancy displays or cooling systems, just some fans and old wooden shelves. It works for us and the neighbors seem happy enough to stop by. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep the doors open and wait it out.
