You can find our shop at 8-3-852 in Yellareddyguda, which is right in the Ameerpet area of Hyderabad. This is a very active neighborhood with many students and people working in offices living nearby. We focus on being a kirana and general store, so we have all the grains, oils, and spices needed for daily cooking. Ameerpet is always busy, and that means we are usually busy too. People are often in a hurry to get to their classes or work and stop by to pick up water, snacks, or something they forgot to buy earlier. The shop is quite full of stock, and sometimes it is hard for us to remember where we put the smaller things like batteries or candles. We try our best to keep it tidy, but with so many people coming and going, things often get moved around. We have been in this spot for a long time and have seen the area change from a quiet place to a very crowded one. We don't have any flashy displays or big signs. It is just shelves of goods and a counter where we sit. Usually, it is just one or two of us handling everything from morning to night.
