Madina Super Market

Madina Super Market is tucked away at 2/188, Flat No 12. We are pretty close to the vegetable market, just opposite Arabhsah Maz on the Old Airport Road in Bala Nagar. It’s a good location if you like being near the hustle of the market. I hear the vendors shouting their prices all day long, which can be a bit much sometimes, but it keeps the energy up. We aren't as big as the name might make you think, but we try to carry a bit of everything in our space. Since we’re on the Old Airport Road, we get a mix of people—some who have lived here forever and some who are just passing through. The flat number can be a little tricky for people to find the first time, but once they know where we are, they keep coming back. We spend a lot of time stocking shelves and making sure nothing has gone past its date. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and moving bags of rice around. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of spices and the exhaust from the cars outside. We don’t have any fancy lights or music playing. It’s just a place to buy your groceries and go home. We’ve been here in Bala Nagar for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we just keep doing what we do. It's a simple store.
