M Ramesh Kirana Store

Our store is located in the Nampally area, specifically at Door No 5-7-591, right near Ek Minar. If you are standing opposite Mallappa Auto Spares, you can see us clearly. M Ramesh Kirana Store is just a regular place where we sell rice, dals, oils, and other cooking essentials. Hyderabad can be very loud and crowded, especially around here, but the shop feels like a familiar spot for the local residents. We’ve been operating from this building for years. The shelves are wooden and probably need a new coat of paint, but they hold everything we need. We get a lot of foot traffic from people living in the nearby lanes. In the mornings, it’s mostly women buying ingredients for lunch, and in the evenings, it’s the office workers picking up milk or bread. We don’t do any home deliveries or anything fancy like that. You just come in, tell us what you need, and we weigh it out on the scale. Sometimes we chat about the weather or the price of onions going up again. It’s just me and maybe my nephew helping out when things get busy. We keep a ledger for the regulars, and the shop is usually filled with the smell of spices and gunny bags. It is a humble space, but it serves the purpose for everyone living around Nampally. We close up for a bit in the afternoon when it gets too hot.
