Locus

We are located up on the 5th floor of Babukhan Estate in Basheerbagh. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how busy it gets with all the offices and shops around. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow during lunch time, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. Our space, 509/B, is where we do all our daily business. It’s a functional office with plenty of light, though the view is just other buildings. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or leather chairs. Most of our furniture is stuff we’ve had for years. We do a lot of our work on computers, so it stays relatively quiet except for the hum of the air conditioning. Basheerbagh is a central spot, which makes it easy for our people to get here from different parts of town. We usually order in lunch or go to one of the small places nearby. There isn't a lot of drama here, just a group of people trying to stay on top of their tasks. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can hear it through the windows, but you stop noticing it after an hour. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s a basic, honest workspace where we just get things done. We don't plan on moving anytime soon because we like it here on the 5th floor.
