Leo 9 Motor Driving School

Driving in Hyderabad is quite a challenge, as anyone who lives here knows. I run Leo 9 Motor Driving School out of Shop No 6-2-9 in Raju Colony. We’re right there in the Bala Nagar area, sitting just beside the Lions Club Eye Hospital. It’s a busy spot, which is actually good because if you can learn to drive around here, you can probably drive anywhere in the world. I spend my whole day in the car or at the shop waiting for the next student to show up. Some people are really nervous when they first sit behind the wheel, so I have to be patient. I don’t use any fancy teaching methods. I just tell them where the clutch is and remind them to check their mirrors every few seconds. The traffic in Raju Colony can be a bit of a mess in the evenings, but that’s when the real learning happens. My shop isn’t very big, just enough space for a desk and some chairs where people can fill out their forms. I’ve seen all sorts of people come through those doors, from young kids to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. We just take it one lesson at a time. It’s a simple life, mostly spent watching the road and hoping no one bumps into the fenders. I like being near the hospital because it’s a good landmark for people to find me.
