Lecturer In College

I am a Lecturer In College located over in Chirala. My address is 9-14-12, right in the Church Compound area, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. This is in the Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. Chirala-523155 is home for me and where I do my work every day. Working at a college means I’m always surrounded by young people. They have a lot of energy, sometimes too much. I spend my hours in the classroom or in the staff room drinking tea and checking assignments. The church compound is a nice place to live because it’s relatively peaceful compared to the main market area. I’ve lived here long enough that I know most of the neighbors. My life is mostly just the walk from my house to the college and back. I’ve got piles of textbooks everywhere in my room. Teaching isn't always easy. Some days the students just don't want to listen, and other days they surprise me. I don't really have a big staff or a corporate office. It's just me and the other teachers trying to get through the syllabus before the exams start. It’s a routine, but it’s my routine. Prakasam weather is what it is, we just get used to the humidity. I just focus on my subjects and hope the kids learn something useful for their future.
