Learning Star Foundation

You can find us over in Jubilee Hills, specifically on Road No 1. We are in the Niharika Jubilee One building, unit H/403. This is a pretty fast-paced part of Hyderabad, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. Learning Star Foundation is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a decent-sized office, but we’ve filled it up with so many materials and books that it feels a bit cramped. We don’t mind, though. It makes the place feel lived-in. Our team is a small group of people who just want to see kids learn better. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with teachers. It’s not glamorous work, and there is plenty of boring stuff like filing and data entry. We try to keep a positive attitude, even when the internet goes out or the coffee runs out. We aren’t trying to change the whole world overnight. We just focus on the students who come through our doors or the schools we work with nearby. It’s a lot of trial and error. Some days things go great, and other days we have to start over from scratch. That’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with education. We like being in this building because it’s easy for people to find us, and the commute isn’t too bad if you leave early enough. It's a good spot for what we do every day.
