Being up on the third floor of the NTR Administrative Block isn't always easy, but it’s where we are. We are right inside the Pandit Nehru Bus Station, so there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long, and the announcements are always going off in the background. It is a huge place, 627 is our unit number, and we see thousands of people passing through every day. Most of them are just tired travelers looking for something to drink while they wait for their next connection. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. It’s a practical setup. We spend most of our time keeping the crates organized and making sure the coolers stay running. When the heat hits, it gets really busy, and we’re just handing out bottles as fast as we can. We don't really do much in the way of talking ourselves up. There’s no time for that when there’s a line of people trying to catch a bus in ten minutes. It’s just a lot of moving around in a small area. The staff here are just regular people trying to keep up with the rush. We’ve been at this station for a while, and you see all sorts of people. It’s an interesting place to work, even if it’s noisy and crowded most of the time. There is always something happening, and we just keep the drinks ready.
