Lakshmi Ceramics & Refractories

Our place is over at 3-652 in Ganapathi Nagar, which is part of Rajagopalanagar. If you know the area, it’s mostly residential around the edges but we have our setup here for Lakshmi Ceramics & Refractories. It gets quite dusty with the materials we use for the ceramics and the refractory stuff. We have heaps of items stacked up in the corners of the yard. Usually, the morning is spent checking what needs to be fired in the kiln and what’s ready to go out. The neighbors in Ganapathi Nagar are used to us by now. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a few of us handling the clay and the bricks. We have been at this address for a good bit of time. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a practical space where we can work without being bothered. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy in the yard, but we deal with it. We handle a lot of different orders, some small and some bigger, but it all gets treated the same way. We just try to stay busy and make sure the work is solid. It’s a lot of manual labor, really. You won't find us in suits or anything. We’re usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of the day. That’s just life at Lakshmi Ceramics in Rajagopalanagar. It is a simple place with a lot of heavy lifting.
