Our office for L J S Motor Driving School is right there in the Yousuf Guda Basthi. If you know where the Ratnadeep Super Market is, we are located just opposite that. It is a very busy part of Hyderabad and the traffic is always moving fast outside our door. We spend most of our daylight hours out on the roads with people who are nervous about being behind the wheel for the first time. It is interesting to see how someone starts out barely able to steer and then gets the hang of it after a week. The building at 8-3-229/6 is not brand new, but it works fine for us. We keep the car keys on a small rack by the entrance and there is usually a pot of tea sitting somewhere. People often walk in from the supermarket across the street to ask us about our classes. It gets quite loud with the horns and the big buses going by, but you get used to the noise. The staff here has been working together for a long time. We do not use any fancy manuals, just our own practical experience from years on the road. Sometimes the computers are a bit slow, so we just do things the old way with pens and logbooks. It is a real local spot where people recognize each other. Usually, there is someone sitting on the bench outside waiting for their driving turn. We stay open late because that is when people finish work.
