L' Elagance

L' Elagance is located in Mayank Plaza, specifically at Dr.No.103/104. We are right on Ameerpet Road in the Grren Land area. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. The plaza itself sees a lot of foot traffic. Inside our space, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed than the street outside. We have been here for a good amount of time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Most of us who work here live nearby, so it’s a short commute. We don’t have some big corporate manual on how to talk to people; we just treat everyone like a regular. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or the elevator in the plaza is slow, but we just deal with it. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the shop looks decent. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and rearranging things so they look right. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like what we do. People come in, they chat for a bit, and they go about their day. We just try to make sure they leave feeling okay. There isn't much more to it than that. It’s just a local business trying to do its part in a crowded city. We keep a kettle in the back and someone is always making tea. The mornings are usually spent checking the stock and dusting the shelves before the first person walks in. It isn't always exciting, but it's our routine.
