Krishna Hospital

Krishna Hospital sits right at the Gayathri Nagar Cross Roads in the Karmanghat area. If you know the cross roads, you know it’s a busy spot where four ways meet. There is always a lot of honking and people trying to cross the street. We’re in a building that’s been around for a good number of years. It’s got a bit of a worn-out look on the outside, but it’s sturdy. Inside, the walls are painted a simple off-white, and the floors are made of that speckled linoleum that you see in older buildings. We have some plastic chairs lined up for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. The reception desk is quite high, and there’s always a stack of forms waiting to be filled out. Our staff comes in from different parts of Karmanghat, so they know the local shortcuts and the best places to get lunch. It gets pretty loud in the afternoons with the traffic outside, so we usually keep the windows shut tight. We don’t have any fancy computerized systems for everything; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with pens and notebooks. People from Gayathri Nagar walk over since it’s so close. It’s a busy, functional place that’s just part of the local scenery at the crossroads. We just keep doing what we do every day without much noise or bother.
