Our place is at 15-6-492, right in the middle of Begum Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded and busy it gets every single day. There’s a constant stream of people and carts moving through the lanes. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, dealing with whatever the market needs. It’s a small shop front with more storage space in the back. We don't have much room for anything fancy, so we just stack the goods high up toward the ceiling. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day by checking what came in overnight. It’s a lot of talk and haggling with the suppliers. That’s just the way things are done in the bazar. We don't use much technology besides the basic stuff for keeping track of the cash and the inventory. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years. They stop by for a chat even if they aren't buying anything that day. The heat in the afternoon can be tough, but we have our old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't looking to expand into some big company. We just like being here in the heart of the trade. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We just take it one day at a time. The bazar is our home and we like the noise.
