Kirana And General Store

Being over here at H. No. 8-77/2 in Sai Nagar Colony, life is pretty quiet. Our Kirana And General Store is just a small part of Balapur. We have lived in Hyderabad for years, and this area has changed a lot. There’s a lot of new houses now. We get people coming in for small things they forgot at the bigger market. It might be a matchbox or some sugar. We try to keep the store stocked with the things people in Sai Nagar use the most. The address is a bit repetitive in the records, always mentioning Balapur, but that’s just where we are. It’s a simple setup. We have the counter in front and shelves all the way to the back. Sometimes it's hard to move around when we get a big shipment of oil or flour bags. We don't have any help, so it's just us taking care of the customers. On rainy days, the floor gets a bit muddy from people coming in, so we are always sweeping. We know the kids who grow up in this colony. They come in for a small sweet or a pencil for school. It’s not a big business, just a local store that’s been around for a while. We stay open until late so workers coming home can grab what they need for dinner. It's a lot of hours, but we are used to it.
