Keshav Memorial Degree & Pg College

The college is tucked away in the lane right next to Deepak Theatre in Narayanguda. It’s a busy part of town, always a lot of traffic and people moving around at all hours. Keshav Memorial Degree & Pg College has been here for a good number of years now. If you walk down the lane, you’ll see the students standing around during their breaks or heading over to the theatre area to grab a quick snack between their classes. The building is what it is, a practical place where people come to study for their degrees. We have the regular undergraduate stuff and the post-graduate classes too. Mornings start early with the first batch of students arriving while the shopkeepers nearby are still opening up their shutters. It gets a bit loud when the movie shows at Deepak are letting out or starting, but we all just get used to the noise. The staff rooms are usually full of papers and old books, and there’s always someone looking for a missing file or checking the exam schedule on the board. We don’t have those fancy glass walls you see in new corporate offices. It’s more of a real setup for learning. People know us in Narayanguda because we’ve been part of the neighborhood for so long. It’s just a place where the local kids come to get their work done and hopefully move on to something good after they finish. (251 words)
