Kanti Stores

Kanti Stores is tucked away in Kaulpet, right near the Corporation Bank. If you’re walking by that way, you’ve probably seen us. It isn't a huge place, but we pack a lot into the shelves. Being near the bank means we get a lot of folks stopping in after they finish their business there. I spend most of my day behind the counter or moving crates around. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when a lot of people come in at once, but we manage. We’ve got the 16-9-42 address, which is easy to find if you know the area. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or organize the back room. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets really packed. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where people come to chat and buy their supplies. It’s mostly regular stuff, groceries and bits for the house. The ceiling fan hums all day and it gets a bit noisy with the street traffic outside, but you get used to it. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a minute, and there's a lot of honking. That's just how life is here in Kaulpet. We just keep doing what we do every day. It's honest work and it keeps us busy. Dealing with the neighborhood folks is the best part of the whole job really.
