Our shop is not very big, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. Most days, you will find someone at the back working on a frame or trying to get a photo lined up just right. We have piles of different wood and plastic pieces sitting around, and there is usually a bit of sawdust on the floor by the end of the evening. People from the area stop in quite often, sometimes just to chat or ask how long a job will take. We don't really have a fancy system for tracking things; we just write it down and make sure it gets done when we said it would. It gets a little cramped when more than two customers come in at once, but nobody seems to mind waiting a bit. Sometimes the power cuts out for a while, so we just sit on the stools out front until it comes back on. It is a simple way to run a business, and being near the temple means we see a lot of familiar faces every single day. We just keep doing our thing and helping people get their pictures onto their walls.
