Kamala Screens & Metal Perforators

Our workshop is over at 1-20-248/8 in Rasoolpura, Secunderabad. We’ve been here for quite some time, doing screen work and metal perforating. It’s a practical sort of place, not at all like those fancy offices you see in the city center. We have these large machines that take up most of the floor space. They are used for punching holes in metal or making wire screens. It’s a lot of physical work and it can be quite noisy when everything is running at once. There is usually a layer of metal dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a marketing budget or a sales team. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we can do with a sheet of steel. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting our hands greasy to fix them. It’s just the way it goes. The street outside is often crowded with delivery vans and bikes, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get things in and out. But we’ve lived and worked in Secunderabad for a long time, so we are used to the chaos. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure every screen is made right. It’s a simple business with no frills.
