Kaapala Foundation

Kaapala Foundation is situated at 1-7-513/1/22/A in Pavitra Nagar, Ram Nagar. This is right in the Musheerabad area of Hyderabad. It’s a very traditional neighborhood with lots of narrow lanes and old houses. Our office is on the ground floor of one of these buildings. It’s not a large space, but it’s enough for us to manage the foundation's activities. We have some basic metal cupboards for our files and a few plastic chairs for visitors. The walls are a simple off-white, and we have a few calendars hanging up. We don't use any fancy management software; we mostly rely on our notebooks and a couple of old PCs. The noise from the Musheerabad market is quite loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a professional spokesperson. If you want to know about us, you just have to come in and talk. We are just regular people from the neighborhood who wanted to do something useful. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a formal dress code, so you’ll usually find us in simple local clothes. We focus on getting our tasks finished every day without making a big deal out of it. It’s honest, hard work.
