Kaam4U Foundation

Kaam4U Foundation is tucked away in Flat No.305 of the Paramount Gardens building. If you know the A C Guards area, you know it can get pretty hectic outside. Inside the flat, it’s a bit different. We’ve got a small setup here at H.No.11-4-626. It’s mostly just desks and computers. We started this because we saw a lot of people needing work and didn't know where to turn. We spend our mornings checking messages and trying to match people with whatever tasks are available. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use a lot of paper notebooks for our records. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we end up walking up the stairs quite a bit. It keeps us fit, I guess. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just help a few people get some work so they can support themselves. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up talking about the day’s problems. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. It’s just us answering the phone and talking to whoever comes by the apartment. Some weeks are slower than others. We don't mind. It gives us time to catch up on the filing and organize the desk. We’ve been in this building for a while now and the neighbors are used to people coming in and out. It’s a simple life and simple work. We just keep at it every single day.
