We work out of room 410 in the Kanchanjunga building over at Aditya Enclave. Ameerpet is always buzzing with students and people on the move. Our office is a bit more formal than a workshop, but it's still pretty laid back. We deal with specialty metals, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking specifications on paper. It’s a lot of technical detail that most people would find boring. We have a few desks squeezed into the space, and there is always a stack of catalogs somewhere. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but it keeps us cool during the Hyderabad heat. We don't really do walk-in retail, so it's usually just the staff here. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall downstairs. We’ve been here in this building for several years now. It’s a good spot because everything we need is close by. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the work with the metals, and go home to our families. It’s a straightforward business. We try to be careful with the numbers because the types of metals we handle are quite specific. It’s not a huge operation, but we stay busy enough with the daily orders that come in. We like the routine of the office life here.
