I am located over in Wahid Colony, which is a busy part of the Yakutpura neighborhood. It is one of those areas with lots of houses built close together and narrow streets where everyone knows what their neighbors are doing. My workspace is at number 17-2-181/72. It is not a very large space, but it is enough for the work I need to get through every day. People from around here know they can find me if they need help with a project or have a specific task they want finished by someone local. I have lived in this part of the city for many years, so I recognize most of the faces passing by my door. The day usually starts early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and the street noise gets too loud to think. I keep all my tools and papers organized on a small wooden table near the front. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a while, and I just have to wait for it to come back on, which is just how things go in this colony. It is a very simple way of working. I do not have any fancy furniture or a group of people helping me out. It is mostly just me handling the different things that come my way. Visitors often stop by just to say hello for a minute while I am busy. The neighborhood is full of life with kids playing and scooters zooming past. I try to finish everything as fast as I can.
