Jmj College Of Nursing

The nursing college is situated on Principal Street in Erragadda. We are quite close to St. Theresa Church and right across from the Rythu Bazar. Having the market so close means it is always lively and a bit chaotic outside, especially in the mornings when everyone is buying their vegetables. You can hear the vendors calling out even from the classrooms sometimes. The building itself is busy with students in their uniforms rushing between classes and the practical labs. It is a school, so there is always that smell of floor cleaner and old books. We have a small office near the entrance where we handle the paperwork for the admissions and the schedules. The stairs are a bit narrow, and everyone is always bumping into each other when the bell rings. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can keep the lights on in the labs. There is a small area where the staff sits to have tea, and that is usually where we catch up on the day’s news. The church nearby is a good landmark for people who are coming here for the first time and get lost. It is just a regular educational institution where people are learning to be nurses. There is no polish here, just a lot of studying and practical work happening in every corner of the building throughout the day.
