The Jayanthi Sreejeevika Foundation is located at 24-143/8/2A in Vishnupuri, which is right in the Malkajgiri area of Hyderabad. Finding the place can be a bit tricky because the house numbers in this lane don't always follow a straight line. We are in a residential-style building that doesn't look like a typical office. There’s a small gate and a few steps leading up to where we work. We don't have any glossy brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. It’s just us, a small group of people working out of a couple of rooms. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We spend our time managing the foundation's affairs and keeping our records straight. The Malkajgiri traffic can be pretty loud, especially in the mornings, so we keep the windows shut most of the time. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just some basic computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a hurry. Most people who come to see us are from the local area. We don't try to act like a big city firm. We are just local folks doing our daily tasks. We usually have our lunch together in the back room. It’s a very simple, quiet way of running things. We stay until about six in the evening and then head home like everyone else in the neighborhood.
