Jason Rehann Foundation

Our office is over at P.No-36 in Ishaq Colony, which is part of the Karkhanasecunderabad area. It’s a residential sort of spot, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. Jason Rehann Foundation started because we wanted to have a dedicated place to work on things that help the people around us. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy out front. It’s just us inside, working away at the desks. The colony is usually pretty calm, which helps when we have to focus on paperwork or planning. Sometimes neighbors walk by and wave, and that’s the kind of environment we like. We aren't interested in being some big, polished name. We just want to be useful. We’ve got a few rooms here where we keep our supplies and files. It’s practical and a bit cramped if too many people show up at once, but we make it work. Most of the time it’s just a couple of us handling the day-to-day stuff. We don't have any scripted speeches about what we do. We just tell people the truth about the projects we are trying to get off the ground. It’s a local operation, plain and simple. Secunderabad has a lot of history, and we’re just glad to have a small corner of it for ourselves. We often share a meal in the small kitchen we have while we discuss our plans for the week. It’s just how we do things here in Ishaq Colony.
