Janasenani Social Responsibility Foundation

The Janasenani Social Responsibility Foundation is over at D NO 3-1-1/1 in Sumithra Nagar Colony, Kukatpally. This part of Bagameer is usually quite busy, but our street is a little tucked away. We’ve got a small office here that’s basically just a few rooms in an older house. There is no big sign out front, just a small board so people don’t miss the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with files and a couple of ceiling fans that make a bit of a clicking noise. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. There are just a few of us who come in every morning to handle the foundation’s work. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing things down in big registers. The internet can be slow in this part of Kukatpally, so we do a lot of things by hand still. We don't have any fancy lobby or a coffee machine. If you come by, we usually just offer some water or get tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us well. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, but we just put a bucket there and keep going. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we need to do each day.
