We are located on the first floor of the Sri Krishna Govinda Building in Ranigunj. It’s an old part of the city and things can get pretty loud outside with all the trade going on. Jakson Generators has been a part of this area for a long time. Our space is filled with files and the sound of people talking on phones about engine parts and delivery schedules. Ranigunj is the kind of place where everyone is buying or selling something industrial, so we fit right in. The building itself is busy, and we share the space with a lot of other businesses. It’s not the easiest place to find a parking spot, but that’s just how this neighborhood is. We don’t really spend much time worrying about the decor. We are more concerned with making sure the generators we handle are ready for whatever they are needed for. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job. We don’t do much advertising. People usually know us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to Ranigunj for equipment for decades. It is a bit dusty and a bit noisy, but it is where we do our work every day. We just try to keep the lights on for everyone else.
