Jainsons Metal Arcade

If you are ever near the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Stand, you’ve probably walked right past Jainsons Metal Arcade at Dr. No.15-5-245 & 246 in Osman Shahi. It is a busy, cramped part of town and our shop is right in the thick of it. The sound of the buses coming and going is the background music to everything we do. We have stacks of metal sheets, rods, and all sorts of bits and pieces piled up inside. It isn't a showroom; it’s a working shop where things get moved around all day. We get a lot of people wandering in because they saw us from the bus stand. Osman Shahi is a crowded area, so we have to be careful with how we stack things so people can actually walk through. It’s hot in the summer with all that metal around, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We aren't corporate at all. If you want something, we go find it in the stacks. Sometimes we can't find it right away, and we have to dig through a bit. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just tell you what we have and what it costs. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying, and by the end of the day, we are pretty worn out. That’s just life in the metal trade.
