Jain Oil Merchant Kirana General Store

We are located at 2-2-1127/13/B in Tilak Nagar, right in the Tilak Nagar-Amberpet area of Hyderabad. People know us as the oil merchants because we’ve always focused on different kinds of cooking oils, but we carry all the regular kirana items too. You can find everything for your kitchen here, like spices, salt, and lentils. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We spend most of our day weighing out items or helping people find a specific brand of soap they like. It's a busy neighborhood, and we see many of the same faces every single week. We aren't trying to be a big mall; we just want to provide what the local families need for their homes. The floors might have some dust from the street, and the bags of grain are often stacked up against the wall. That’s just how a real local store looks. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and start our work. It’s a lot of standing and moving boxes around, but it’s good to be part of the community here in Hyderabad. Most people just walk over from their houses nearby. We have different varieties of cooking oil in cans and pouches, which is why the name stuck over the years. We just keep things straightforward.
