Jai Sai General Stores

We are right here at the Pdr Complex near Pillar 183. Most people use the pillar to find us because the cross road at Upparpally gets really busy in the evenings. The shop has been around for a while now and we just keep things moving. We have the usual stuff like rice, soaps, and those small packets of biscuits kids like. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to wait around, but that is just how it goes here in Attapur. The fan in the back makes a bit of noise but it keeps the heat away during the afternoons. My cousin helps out when the school is closed. We don't have fancy shelves or anything, just the wooden ones we got years ago. Usually, someone is always standing outside talking while they wait for their change. Hyderabad gets quite hot so we try to keep the drinks cold in the small fridge by the counter. It isn't a huge place but we fit a lot of items inside. You might have to squeeze past a crate of milk if you come in early. We open up pretty early before the traffic starts building up. Most of the regulars live just behind the main road. We don't really do anything special, just sell what people need for their kitchens. It gets a bit dusty with the road construction nearby but we clean the jars every few days. I keep a small radio on the shelf to listen to the news.
