Jai Bhavani Steel Syndicate is right by the petrol bunk in Balkampet. The exact address is No. 7-1-282/C/A/1. It’s a busy spot because of the bunk, so there is always traffic and people moving around. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, so the place is mostly filled with metal and stacks of supplies. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a working yard. We have been in Balkampet for quite some time now. Most of the local builders and guys doing renovations know where we are. We don’t really do any fancy sales pitches. If we have what you need, we tell you. If we don’t, we might know who does. The trucks come and go all day, unloading and loading. It can get pretty hectic in the mornings when everyone wants their orders at the same time. We just try to keep track of everything without losing our heads. The office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the books and an old desk. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that, just a couple of fans that move the air around. It’s a hot job, especially in the summer when the steel gets warm under the sun. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day. There’s no big mystery to it. It’s just a steel yard in a busy part of town. The gate squeaks a lot, but we know it's just our way of knowing someone is here.
