Jai Bhavani Kirana & General Stores

Jai Bhavani Kirana & General Stores is located at 3-4-531/A on YMCA Road. This is right in the middle of Narayanguda in Hyderabad, which is a place that stays active pretty much all the time. The shop is your typical neighborhood store where you can find everything from soap bars to bags of lentils. We have been in this spot for a while, and the building shows its age a little, but it serves us well. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we often have to use a small stool to reach the items on the top. It can get a bit crowded when the delivery guys bring in the new crates of soda or the sacks of onions. We just move things aside and make it work. The street outside is usually full of traffic, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background while we work. We know most of our customers by name since they live in the nearby apartments. They come in for their weekly supplies or just to pick up something they forgot. We don't have any big marketing plans or a corporate office, it’s just us here behind the counter every day. We start early to catch the morning crowd and don't head home until it’s quite late. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know, and we just keep at it to make sure the neighborhood stays stocked.
