Our place is Flat 105 in Balaji Residency. It’s over in Pragati Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Hyderabad if you know where to look. We’ve been running the Institute Of Hotel & Restaurant Management from this spot for a while now. It’s a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a cold office. We have students coming in and out at different times of the day. There is always a lot to teach when it comes to the food and service industry. We use the kitchen space a lot and there's usually a smell of something cooking in the air. It’s not a massive campus with hundreds of rooms, just our dedicated space here in the area marked as Hyderabad - 90. We keep things pretty simple. Most of the furniture is just basic tables and chairs where we sit and go over lessons. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but we’re used to it. We try to teach the practical stuff, the things people actually need to know to get a job in a real restaurant. Hyderabad is a great city for food, so we feel like we are in the right spot. We don't spend much time on fancy brochures. Most people find out about us through word of mouth. We just keep our heads down and focus on the students who show up every morning. We like the work we do here.
