Institute Of Caligraphy

We are located in Flat No: 103 of the Jaya Sree Apartments, which is in Chandragiri Colony near R.K. Puram. Being in Neredmet means we’re tucked away from the really heavy traffic of central Secunderabad. The Institute Of Caligraphy isn't a massive school with marble floors. It’s a comfortable apartment space where we keep all our pens, inks, and paper. We started this because we really enjoy the art of handwriting. There’s something nice about seeing ink hit the page in a clean way. The rooms have large tables where people can spread out their work. It’s usually pretty quiet here, except for the sound of pens scratching on paper. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing outside, and you can hear them through the windows. We’ve got shelves full of different types of paper we’ve collected over the years. Some of it is getting a bit yellowed at the edges, but that adds character. People come to us to learn how to make their writing look better or to just slow down a bit. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a nib. We usually have a pot of tea going in the kitchen. It feels more like a home than a business, which makes it easier for people to relax and focus on their strokes.
