We operate out of a building at 3-2-480/1 in the Kachiguda area of Hyderabad. It’s a very active neighborhood, especially with the railway station being so close. You can always find people moving about and a lot of small shops selling snacks and tea. Our office is a bit of a maze with different rooms for different tasks. We handle a lot of information and publishing work here. The air conditioning struggles a bit during the peak of the Hyderabad summer, so we have a few extra fans going. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have fancy furniture or a modern lobby. Instead, we have desks piled with folders and computer monitors that stay on all day. Most of the staff live nearby, so we have a good feel for the local area. We’ve been in this Kachiguda spot for a while, and we know all the neighboring shopkeepers. It’s a community feel even though we are doing serious data work. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to call the technician who lives just down the street. We just try to stay on top of the daily grind and get the information out where it needs to go. There’s always someone typing away or on the phone. It’s a lived-in office that shows we actually do the work every day without too much fuss or extra decoration. It is a bit loud but we are used to it.
