Our office is located at H No. 116 in the Jeera area, right on R.P. Road in Secunderabad. It’s an old part of the city, and things can get quite loud with the buses and cars rushing by outside. We’ve been here for quite some time now, handling all sorts of media and information tasks. Inside the building, there are stacks of directories and papers that we manage. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s our daily workspace. Andhra Pradesh has always been our home base, even as the city around us keeps changing. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a routine down. We usually start our mornings by checking the local news and getting through the pile of mail that arrives. The Jeera neighborhood has a lot of character, and we like being in the thick of it. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and wait it out. It’s not a shiny corporate office like you see in the new parts of town, but it’s solid and reliable. We focus on getting the data right and keeping the records updated. It’s steady work that requires a lot of looking at screens and physical documents. We don’t have a big reception area or anything, just some chairs and our desks. It is just how we like it.
