We are situated at 6-1-91, which is right next to the Telephone Bhavan in Khairatabad. Most people find us easily because of that massive landmark. The building has been here for many years, and it looks it, but it serves its purpose. We are the Indian Institute of Management & Commerce, so we focus on those specific subjects for our students. It’s a very busy area with cars and buses constantly moving outside on the main road. Inside, it’s a bit more disciplined, but still has that chaotic energy of a college. We have a lot of students who come for the commerce courses every semester. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and big blackboards. We don’t go for modern glass offices here. The staff room is always full of teachers grading papers or having a quick cup of tea. We spend a lot of time managing the schedules and making sure the exams go off without any problems. Khairatabad is a central spot, so it’s easy for everyone to get here using the bus. Sometimes the noise from the street leaks into the rooms, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We keep the files in big steel cupboards and use a lot of paper for everything we do. It’s just an honest, working college. We don’t have a big marketing team; we just open the doors and get to work teaching.
