Ikigai Ken Foundation

Our place is at No. 10-1-672 in the A.C. Guards area, specifically Anand Nagar in Hyderabad. The pin code is 500004. It’s a central location, but tucked away enough that it isn't too crazy. The Ikigai Ken Foundation operates out of a small building here. It’s nothing special to look at, just a door and some windows on a regular street. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of books and files. We started this because we wanted to have a space to work on things that matter to us. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. Most of the furniture was bought second-hand or donated. There are usually three or four of us here at any given time. We spend a lot of time drinking coffee and going over plans. It’s a lot of trial and error, honestly. We don’t have all the answers, but we show up every day and try to figure things out. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the internet goes out, and we just deal with it like everyone else. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to do the work and be honest about it. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a messy project. That’s just how we operate.
