S L V Fine Castings

Our foundry, S L V Fine Castings, is located at Plot No 10 A /1B in Phase Iv of Ida Jeedimetla. If you’ve ever been to Jeedimetla, you know it’s a place where things are built and shaped. Our workshop is no different. It’s a hot and heavy environment because of the casting work we do. There are molds sitting around and the smell of hot metal is pretty much always in the air. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning, so we rely on the big open doors to catch whatever breeze comes through Phase Iv. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We take the metal, melt it down, and pour it into the shapes needed. It takes a lot of patience and a steady hand. The floor is usually covered in sand and bits of casting material. We aren't really the type to sit in an office all day. We’d rather be out where the furnaces are. People who come to see us usually know what they’re looking for, so we don't spend time on long explanations. We just show them the pieces we’ve finished and talk about the next run. It’s honest work that leaves you tired, but there is something about seeing a finished casting come out of a mold that never gets old for us.
