I- Cube Technology

Working at I-Cube Technology in Hitech City near Apex is pretty much what you would expect from an office job in this part of town. The building is surrounded by other tech companies and there is always a lot of traffic during the morning rush. We spend most of our time staring at screens and trying to solve technical problems. The office is an open space with desks pushed together and wires running all over the floor. We have a small pantry where the coffee machine is always running. That is where most of the talking happens during the breaks. Hitech City is a fast-paced area, but inside our office, things are usually focused and quiet, except for the sound of typing. We deal with various software and hardware issues throughout the day. Sometimes a project takes much longer than we thought, and we end up staying late into the evening. Being near Apex makes it easy to give people directions to find us. We don't have much in the way of decor, just some whiteboards with scribbles and a few old plants someone forgot to water. It is a practical space for doing technical work. We just get through the task list and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. The view from the window is mostly other office buildings and the metro line, which reminds us of the long commute we face later.
