You can find us at 4-4-64 in Gunj Bazar. Being in the bazaar means it’s always crowded and loud with people buying and selling everything you can imagine. Hindustan Metals Industries has been tucked away in this spot for quite some time. The building is older, and the space inside is packed with metal sheets and rods of all sizes. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a big delivery and have to find a place for everything. We spend our days cutting metal to size for various customers who walk in or call us up. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means. We have some old wooden desks where we keep the ledgers and a few fans that try their best to move the air around when it gets humid. The smells of the market—spices, street food, and exhaust—mix with the smell of the metal. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a tea in the afternoon while the sun is high. It’s a practical business. We don't have a website that we look at, we just deal with the people in front of us. Some days the traffic in Gunj Bazar is so bad that the delivery trucks can't even get close, so we end up moving stuff by hand through the crowds. It keeps us active. It's just a regular metal shop in a very busy, old part of town.
