Hari Priya Kiranam

Hari Priya Kiranam is my small shop located at Plot No 23 in Bupesh Nagar. We are right in the Karmanghat area of Hyderabad. It is mostly a residential spot, so most of the people who come in are my neighbors. I have lived around here for a long time, so I know the area well. The shop is filled with all the things you might need for your kitchen, like different types of rice, oils, and spices. I also keep some general items like soaps and shampoos. It is a simple setup with wooden counters and some metal racks for the chips and snacks. I usually open up early in the morning because people like to get their milk and curd before they start their day. It is just me running the place most of the time. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely when the street is quiet, but then someone always pops in for a quick chat and to buy some sugar. I use a small calculator to do the totals and keep my accounts in a paper ledger. It is old-fashioned but it works for me. I don't have any big signs or advertisements. People just know I am here. When the festival season comes, I try to stock up on special items like sweets or Pooja materials. It is a modest way to serve the community in Bupesh Nagar and I plan to keep doing it.
