Hanumantharao Savitramma Foundation

Our place is at H No 1-5-699/1/205 in Bhavani Nagar. It’s over in the Old Alwal area. Hanumantharao Savitramma Foundation is run out of this space, and it’s pretty quiet most of the time. Alwal has a different feel than the middle of the city, which we actually like. It’s a bit more relaxed. Our office isn’t huge, but it fits us just fine. We have our files and our computers and a small table where we sit and talk things through. Sometimes we bring in snacks to share. It’s a very casual environment. We don’t go in for fancy titles or corporate rules. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. The building is older, but it’s got some character. We’ve gotten used to the creaks and the way the light comes in through the windows in the morning. People around Bhavani Nagar are mostly families and small shops. It feels like home to us. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really think about moving. It’s a good spot for what we do. No one is trying to be a big shot here. We’re just regular people working in a regular neighborhood. We take things one day at a time and try to stay productive without making things complicated. It’s just a small foundation doing its thing in a corner of the city.
