Hand Fabs

You can find Hand Fabs over at 124 Kabra Complex. We’re right opposite the TVS showroom on M.G. Road in Ranigunj. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside. Inside the shop, we’re usually busy with fabrics. We’ve been set up in this spot for a good bit of time. The shelves are mostly full of different materials and half-finished items. It's not a showroom where everything is perfect, it looks more like a place where things are actually being made. We handle a lot of the work ourselves. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we manage. People find us because of the location, being near the main road helps. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. Most of the day is spent checking the weaves or packing things up. It’s a practical business. We don’t do much advertising, word of mouth around Ranigunj seems to work fine for us. If you come by, you’ll likely see us sorting through rolls or talking to a delivery driver. The lights are a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is. It's a lot of work, but it keeps us going. That’s pretty much the story of Hand Fabs here on M.G. Road. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down, just keeping busy with whatever orders we have on the table for that day.
