Gulam Mohammed

My name is Gulam Mohammed and I operate out of house number 20-4-231/E. If you know the Charminar area, I’m right opposite the Khilwat Palace. It’s a very busy part of Hyderabad, full of history and people everywhere you look. I’ve been in this spot for years. The building is old, and it has that classic feel of the Old City that you don't find elsewhere. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but I’ve grown used to it over the years. My shop is just a basic room where I keep my things and meet people who need me. I don't have any fancy decorations or a modern setup. It’s just a place to get the job done. I usually have a cup of chai in the morning while watching the tourists and locals walk toward Charminar. It’s a good spot to see the world go by. I’m not a big company, it’s just me and maybe one other guy helping out when it gets too busy to handle alone. We do what we can. People know me by name around here, which is better than any advertisement I could pay for. I don't use a lot of technology if I can help it. I prefer talking to people face to face. It’s a simple life, but it’s busy and it keeps me on my feet. The evenings are the best when the lights come on at the palace across the way and things calm down.
