Our shop is located in the R. V. Kousalya Annexe, specifically at Shop No. Ug-1 and Ug-2 on the first floor. We are right beside the ESI Hospital in Nacharam. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the hospital is. The smell of leather is the first thing you notice when you walk into our place. We have rolls of hides and finished goods scattered around. It’s not the most organized shop in Nacharam, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time cutting and stitching. There are a few old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The floor is made of tile and has some stains from the dyes we use. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the door open. We’ve been here for a few years and have gotten used to the sirens from the hospital next door. We aren’t interested in being a big fancy brand. We just like working with our hands and making things that last. Most of our tools are old and have been with us since we started. We usually have a pot of coffee going in the corner. It’s just a simple leather shop run by people who know the trade. We don't do anything special for marketing; we just stay open and do the work.
