Grandex Paperplate Machinery & Tools is located at No. 5-5-35/258/A. We are situated behind the Metro in the Mythri Nagar area of Kukatpally. The workshop is a busy place. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming. We have a lot of tools scattered around the benches. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the grease and metal shavings. We spend our days putting together machinery or fixing parts. It’s manual work that keeps us on our feet all day. Kukatpally is a very crowded part of the city, but being behind the Metro gives us a little bit of space. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. If someone wants to talk, we just stand in the middle of the workshop. The roof is made of metal sheets, so it gets very loud when it rains. In the summer, it feels like an oven inside. We just drink plenty of water and keep working. We don't use any high-tech systems for our inventory. We just look at the shelves to see what we have. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a local workshop trying to build good machines and stay busy. It takes effort, but we enjoy the work.
