Grand Industries

Grand Industries is based out of D 72 in Phase 5 of Focal Point. If you are familiar with the area, you know it is mostly just rows of factories and large warehouses. It is a dusty place to work and there are trucks moving in and out of the gates all day long. We have been in this unit for a good number of years. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we just put out a few buckets and keep working. It is a practical workspace, not a showroom for visitors. We do a lot of heavy lifting and manufacturing in this building. The constant noise is something you just get used to after working here for a week. Most of us have been doing this kind of industrial work for most of our lives. We do not have any mission statements or corporate slogans hanging on the walls. We just have a production schedule that we try our best to stick to. Some days we are ahead and other days we fall behind. That is just how it goes in Focal Point. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the things we build are solid. Grand Industries is a simple, hardworking operation.
